In order to break this up, why not encourage the presence of workplace pets? To say that these animals welcome would be an understatement, as I'm sure that any pet owner will attest. When it comes to the perks that these pets have to offer, here are just a few.
There are many perks associated with workplace pets, such as the lower stress levels they create. It's important to remember that pet owners are often less stressed, not to mention more productive, because of the animal friends they have around. Wouldn't it make sense, then, to make workplace pets more commonplace for the same reasons? Stress reduction goes a long way in any job, which is partially why pets in any workplace matter.
There's also the exercise that workplace pets can bring to the table. For example, if you're someone who sits at a desk most of the day, chances are that stiffness in the joints will set in before long. This is why it's important to stay active from time to time, which is exactly what workplace pets can help with. Some pets require walks, while others will be open to playtime. Regardless, you won't be short on activity with workplace pets present.
